Search Engine Optimization – Secret Tips You Need To Know
Using Search Engine Optimization is essential if you want to drive traffic to your sites, without it you’re not likely going to be a successful Internet Marketer or make much money online.
Different search engines look for different things when determining the top ranking sites, although they all work on the same concept. The Search Engine Optimization tips I am about to share with you are a must if you want to get your site to a top 10 search engine ranking!
1. Update your website consistently – You need to continually update your website; this is because search engines look for sites that have fresh content regularly added. They don’t want to send people to a site that hasn’t been touched for a year! The search engines need to display the most relevant and up to date sites. A great way of adding fresh content to your sites is by adding a mini blog onto it, you can have one that gets updated automatically when you change your twitter status, this saves you time and makes sure your site is continually updated. Also have links within your site to where you can add content.
2. Start using article marketing – Write articles on relevant topics to your industry. I am involved with internet marketing so I write articles on pretty much every aspect ranging from search engine optimization (as I am doing now) to video marketing and making money online. You want to load your articles with keywords, if you don’t know the main keywords in your industry then go to Google ad words and type in one word that relates to your business, then Google will show you which are the most popular keywords and how many times that keyword is searched for on a monthly business.
3. Submit your site to online directories – By adding your site to directories, search engines rate it higher as your site will be in categories in all directions. It helps you get good links for your site and it is so quick and easy to add your website to an online website directory.
4. Develop an industry relevant blog – Create a blog that relates to your particular industry, as I mentioned before I am an Internet Marketers and specialise in home business opportunities so as with articles I cover lots of aspects such as Pay Per Click advertising and article writing. As with writing articles you want to load your blogs with keywords although make sure you do not go over the top. You want your text to flow and be of real use to the reader, that way any traffic will be likely to become part of your list and inevitably buy from you in the future. Add links to your main website on the end of every blog post in your signature line, this create back links to your site, this is one of the most important search engine optimization tips I can give. The blog I would recommend is Blogger this is a rank 10 website by Google.
5. Post blog comments – With links to your site in your signature Comment on other blog posts and leave a link to your website in your signature line. For example: Joe Bloggs Internet Marketer www.makemoneyonline.com This will give more back links to your site, as with blog posting make sure your comments are of real value. If you add a quality comment that goes into more depth in a subject people reading that blog are likely to click on your link which leads to traffic and list building. This is a really easy search engine optimization tip as you do not even have to write a full topic, just add a comment which takes two minutes. If you follow these search engine optimization tips you will be well on your way to having a top 10 ranking site.
Once you have a high ranking site you will get more and more traffic, this results in list building and that is what will make you a successful Internet Marketer and make you money online.
